As an exciting part of the redevelopment of the Detroit neighborhood, ACCC has launched an International Marketplace project, which is an indoor shopping center with a mix of culturally tainted stores, restaurants and a variety of shops. In this venue, tenants are able to display artifacts, clothing, fresh perishable produce and other material goods. Furthermore, the variety of products and services from these cultural groups truly open the door to a wide range of opportunities.
The first phase of this project was successfully launched on March 7th, 2020, with a mini-marketplace event at The International Institute of Detroit, corner of John R & Kirby in Detroit. Approximately 20 vendors participated in this initial event.
The Grand vision for the future is to become a spine where International goods are made, bought and sold.
